We have a saying that our "special ingredient" is "love" but we also put lots of humor into our pizzas. Here is an example --- one of our waitresses found this sign at the Salvation Army thrift store on River Street and thought it would be perfect to hang up on the wall. We put it in the back, where the customers can not see it, because contrary to what this sign would make you think, we believe the customer is always right!
On a recent trip to visit family in New York Tony Jr. and I had lunch at Famous Ray's. Tony joked that all the Ray's Pizzas in NYC ... that it was like Pizza By Alfredo vs. Alfredo's Pizza Cafe and who knows the difference? I said that PIZZA BY ALFREDO is the original in Scranton, that's that, end of story, that's all she wrote.
Tony Jr. made this somehow, and it basically somes up what PIZZA BY ALFREDO is all about. We believe our pizza is a "work of art" !
